02825.3 - One 1970's Unique Hand Made Gold Plated Sterling Silver 925 Pendant Set with One Bezel set Drop Shaped Boulder Opal

A somewhat unusual Gold Plated Sterling Silver Pendant.

(If you prefer it as a Silver Pendant, then I can polish off the Gold Plating, although there may be a fine hint of gold colour around the Opal. This is because Gold Plating, being a liquid, has penetrated in between the Silver and the Opal and it is not possible for a polishing wheel to get inside. The good news is that the effect may be quite nice.

It was made by a trainee jeweller using my Boulder Opal sometime in the 1970's and it has, along with innumerable other weird and wonderful things, just been sitting around waiting for me to do something with them all (like selling them...!)

It has never been worn by anyone and as such is "brand-old-new".

We do not import, promote or sell Synthetic or Man Made Opal, nor any non-Australian mined Opal. On 27 July, 1993, The Australian Government proclaimed Opal as the National Gemstone of Australia!
