Australian Turquoise is very rare and the rough, that these stones were cut from, were mined some 50 years ago in Central Australia.
The mining company had to seize it's operations as they were getting too close to some Aboriginal sacred site.
Chrysoprase is sometimes referred to as "Australian Jade", but is actually in the Chalcedony family of Gemstones.
