These Opals were mined in Australia and are fair dinkum Aussie Opal.
But let's face it, Opal can and do craze and that can be costly in many ways when a customer complains and want the Opal replaced.
Well, these Opals have been laying around for decades, since the 1980's and into the early 1990's when I stopped manufacturing jewellery, and so have proved their durability.
It is worth paying a premium for good Opal, it's like paying for insurance, peace of mind except... these stones aren't priced with a premium added, on the contrary!
